LCCL Construction is built on a team of experienced architects, structural engineers, project managers and skilled tradespeople who work together to deliver every project from design through to completion. Every project is managed in-house by our core team, with specialist partners for structural engineering, party wall surveying and gas/electrical work. This means you get a single point of contact throughout your build, with direct access to the people designing and building your project.
Alexander Anderson
Role: Founder, Architecture and Project Management
Alexander Anderson founded LCCL Construction and brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in architecture, construction and project management. He oversees every project from initial design through to completion, ensuring quality standards are met at every stage. Alexander’s background spans architectural design, planning applications, structural engineering and on-site construction management, with particular expertise in loft conversions, house extensions and new builds across London and Hertfordshire.
Amelia Taylor
Role: Architecture and Project Management
Amelia Taylor has over 16 years of experience in architecture, project management and construction. She manages the design and delivery of projects from initial consultation through to handover, coordinating with architects, engineers and construction teams throughout. Amelia specialises in residential projects including loft conversions, house extensions, renovations and new builds, with a strong track record of delivering work on time and to a high standard.
Sarah Architecture
Role: Architecture and Planning
Sarah handles architectural design, concept development, planning permission applications and building regulation submissions. Her detailed knowledge of local authority planning guidelines across London and Hertfordshire enables her to achieve a high rate of planning approvals. Sarah produces technical drawings for loft conversions, house extensions, new builds, basements, renovations and outbuildings.
Julie MEng(Hons), CEng MIStructE
Role: Structural Engineer — HLS Structural Engineers
Julie is a chartered structural engineer (CEng MIStructE) with a Master’s degree in Engineering. She prepares structural calculations, beam specifications and foundation designs for all LCCL projects. Julie’s work ensures every build meets building regulations and is structurally sound, covering steelwork, load-bearing walls, foundations and roof structures.
On site management
Role: On-Site Construction Management
David, John, Nick and Simon make up our on-site management team, with a combined 50+ years of experience in residential and commercial construction. They coordinate day-to-day site operations, manage trades, oversee quality and ensure projects progress on schedule.
Steven MCIOB FPWS
Architecture and Survey
Architectural design, concept design, planning permissions, building regulations approvals and technical drawings for loft conversions, house extensions, new builds, basements, renovations or outbuildings. Steven has excellent track record and skills to come up with amazing designs. Steven is a CIOB member. Steven’s vast knowledge of London and Hertfordshire areas enables him to deliver a high rate of planning permission approvals.
Nic HNC (Civil Engineering)
Role: Structural Engineer — HLS Structural Engineers
Nic holds an HNC in Civil Engineering and works alongside Julie on structural design for LCCL projects. He produces structural drawings, calculations and specifications, with particular experience in residential substructures, superstructures and retrofit structural work for loft conversions and extensions.

Role: Builders and Carpenters
LCCL Construction employs skilled builders and carpenters directly, ensuring consistent quality and accountability across every project. Our in-house trades team handles brickwork, carpentry, roofing, plastering, tiling, flooring and all general construction work to the highest standards.
Graig BA Architecture
Architecture and Survey
Architectural design, concept design, planning permissions, building regulations approvals and technical drawings for loft conversions, house extensions, new builds, basements, renovations or outbuildings. With excellent attention to detail Graig has many years of experience in developing new builds and remodeling of the residential and commercial properties. Graig is a member of ARB and has completed a BA in Architecture.

Party wall notices, party wall survey, party wall agreements, serving party wall award and liaison between surveyors.
Plumbers & Electricians
Role: Plumbing and Electrical (Subcontracted)
We work with trusted Gas Safe registered plumbers and NICEIC certified electricians to ensure all plumbing and electrical work meets the highest safety and compliance standards. By partnering with specialist subcontractors, we maintain quality while keeping our core team focused on construction and project management.

Q1: Who will manage my project?
Every LCCL project is managed by our core team led by Alexander Anderson. You will have a single point of contact from initial consultation through to completion, with direct access to our architects, project managers and site managers throughout the build. We do not hand your project off to subcontractors — our in-house team manages every stage.
Q2: Do you use your own builders or subcontractors?
Our builders, carpenters and general construction trades are employed directly by LCCL Construction. We subcontract Gas Safe plumbers and NICEIC electricians to ensure specialist compliance, but all other trades are in-house. This gives us full control over quality, timelines and communication on every project.
