You would require planning permission when you looking to build something new, make major changes to your building or change use of your building.
The process of the planning permission drawings
When the measured building survey is complete we can than some up with schematic drawings and planning drawings to submit the application to your local planning authority. Steps are as follows:

Fully investigating your area and local context, studying local guidelines in great detail so that we can come up with the design that has good chances of success.

Producing site layout, cross sections, outline specifications, location plan, producing design and access statements, Presenting you with schemating drawings and awaiting your feedback before application to local planning authority.

Application made on your behalf, liaising with your local planning authority and keeping you informed. With these sets of drawings you will be able to: Make a Planning application submission - Make a Permitted Development application to receive a Certificate of Lawfulness for your extension or loft conversion.
